Position Brief
The Retail Sales and Service Program Manager, a new, unique position in the retail banking division, will focus on the execution of a best-in-class internal communication strategy to assist our 60 banking centers in meeting goals and providing the nation's best banking experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates a proven ability to lead projects, influence teams with their communications acumen, and excels in a fast-paced environment.
A true problem solver with the curiosity to discover what motivates staff to exceed goals, the Program Manger will enjoy being an influencer through creative and impactful communications. The successful candidate will support retail banking strategy by deploying their problem solving skills, conducting trend analysis and monitoring product performance and market position.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience as a program and/or communications manager in the financial services industry preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Develop and implement internal communication strategies, plans and tactics that support the business goals and objectives of Retail Banking.
Assess, write, edit, produce and manage distribution of internal communication content as needed (e.g. newsletters, articles for an internal Sharepoint site, announcements).
Plan, organize and execute events for Retail Banking.
Manage relationship with key Retail Banking vendors including goal development, implementation of sales and communication strategy, and resolution of customer complaints.
Perform trend analysis and report on Retail Banking products and programs to ensure achievement of stated objectives and goals.
Monitor and understand Camden National Bank's market position
Limited travel will be required within Camden National's footprint. Anticipated no more than 15% of the time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
